Auckland Film Studios is located
just 20 minutes drive from the Auckland CBD and 30
minutes drive from Auckland International Airport.
It is located in the heart of Waitakere City and close
to a range of suppliers to the film industry. Moreover,
the wide number of locations that are close by make
its positioning perfect for so many productions; from
the black beaches of the west coast, the white beaches
of the east coast, native and exotic forests through
to a wide range of urban environments in and around
New Zealand's largest metropolitan area.
The studios are also very close to a wide range of spectacular
locations; from stunning beaches, rugged coastlines,
bush clad native forests and a wide range of rural and
urban environments. In many respects, Auckland Film
Studios has the world at its back door.
